Côte d’Ivoire

CIV

N’golo Abdoulaye KONE

I’m a lecturer at the « Unité de Formation et de Recherche Sciences de la Nature (UFR SN) » of the « Université NANGUI ABROGOUA » since 2013. As a member of the Laboratory of Ecology and Sustainable Development (LEDD) of this University, I’m also the Director of the Ivoiro-German Research Station in Ecology of the Comoé National Park. My research and teaching activities deal with general ecology (structure, ecosystem dynamics and functioning), with a particular interest in intra- and interspecific interactions. Moreover, my education, my management position, and the experience of working for more than a decade in and around the ivorian protected areas, obviously made biodiversity conservation one of my major interests. As a PhD in ecology, biodiversity conservation, sustainable management of ecosystems and the ecosystem services they provide are the mainstays of my fields of expertise. In addition, since 2013, I conducted more than a dozen research and training projects. Finally, since my beginnings in research, I produced twenty publications in internationally recognized journals.
